PCG® tapered roller bearings

In our PCG® tapered roller bearings, the tapered rollers are guided by specific cages along the raceways. These bearings are designed to efficiently handle both radial and axial loads simultaneously. The contact point on the bearing axis ensures low-friction operation and precise rolling.

Thanks to their wide bearing span, tapered roller bearings effectively absorb forces, ensuring rigid shaft guidance. Additionally, their separable design allows for easy assembly and adjustment.”

Our products

Single-row tapered roller bearings

Single-row tapered roller bearings are capable of transmitting both radial and axial forces. The axial load capacity is determined by the bearing size and contact angle. Since these bearings can only transmit axial loads in one direction, they are typically used in pairs. During assembly, the axial clearance or pre-loading must be carefully set. The appropriate level of axial clearance or pre-loading is chosen based on operating conditions, bearing size and type, and the required rigidity.

Manufactured size range: Ø d = 200 to 4500 mm; max. Ø D = 4800 mm

Typical applications include cranes and lifting devices, wind energy systems, and gear manufacturing.

Double-row tapered roller bearings

Double-row PCG® tapered roller bearings are rigid, high-capacity bearings designed for absorbing both radial and axial loads. By adjusting the axial clearance and preload, these bearings can guide the shaft in both directions.

These bearings are primarily used in heavy engineering and the automotive industry.

Manufactured size range: Ø d = 200 to 1800 mm; max. Ø D = 2800 mm

Typical applications include cranes and lifting devices, wind energy, smelting works engineering, gear manufacturing, and raw material extraction and processing.
